AVAILABLE LICENSES
The license required depends on how the file will be used:
Standard License
Files : images and illustrations in JPEG format
Use : illustration of all kinds of professional documents (advertising, press articles, product packaging, websites...)
Check the image size to verify it matches your needs, standard licenses are from XS (0.12 MP) to XXXL (30+ MP).
Extended license
Files : images and illustrations in JPEG format
Use : illustration of derivative products intended for resale (postcards, posters, t-shirts, templates...)
The image provided for an extended license is the biggest size that we have available.
Subscription License
Files : Images and illustrations offered in the subscription are in JPEG format
Use : the same as standard license
Images from subscription downloads are only available with an L standard license (4 MP)
Premium Subscription License
Files : Images, Vectors and Videos
Use : the same as standard license
The file provided with a premium license is the largest file size available. Please note that a vector counts for 3 downloads while a video file counts for 10 downloads.
Vector license
Files : vector files come in AI, EPS or SVG format
Use : the same as standard license
Vector files may be enlarged or made smaller without any quality loss.
Vector extended license
Files : vector files come in AI, EPS or SVG format
Use : illustration of derivative products intended for resale (postcards, posters, t-shirts, templates...)

DISPLAY AND PRINT SIZE
When you choose a license on Fotolia, please select the appropriate size for your needs.
When you buy an extended license, we provide you the largest size we have available.
When you buy a vector file, you can enlarge it or make it smaller without any quality loss, it will fit all printed sizes.
Files that are sold in subscription are provided in a size between 2 MP and 4 MP.
magazine printing / web displaying
Magazine ads generally needs images in 300 DPI to allow high quality prints.
For standard licenses, you can refer to the chart below to choose the correct license and size:

Large Posters and Prints
Large prints are generally viewed at distances greater than 3 feet. Thus, the Dot Per Inch (DPI) can be less than 300 DPI, depending on the distance between the image and the viewer. For example, an image which will be seen at a distance greater than 3 feet can be 100 DPI without any quality loss.

RESTRICTIONS
All files available on Fotolia must comply with the following rules:
- Files must not be used in a way that places any person in the photo or the author in a bad light or depicts them in a way that they may find offensive (pornography, violence...)
- Files must not be used to support political parties or religious organizations
- For security reasons, in a web use, files must not be displayed in a size bigger than 640x480 pixels
